We are pleased to announce the Third of the ESN-ISN Neurochemistry School series, which will take place in Athens, Greece, under the auspice of the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens on June 2-8, 2024.

Entitled “Neurodegeneration, Inflammation, and Cancer”, this ESN-ISN School will bring together 24 young scientists (PhD students and postdocs, competitively chosen for their academic performance) from European and neighboring countries and distinguished faculty to explore the mechanisms of the common functional pathways in neurodegeneration, inflammation, and cancer, which apparently show intriguing and intricate interrelations.

For one week, attendees, who will receive full support for travel and all incurred expenses during the School term, will take part in advanced scientific lectures, discussions, poster presentations, and will have the opportunity to choose from 14 different state-of-the-art, hands-on laboratory modules, according to their own interests.

The Organizing Committee and the ESN Officers invite applications from February 19 to March 15, 2024; the official language of the school is English.
